The University of Missouri’s Department of Computer Science challenges students with a rigorous program and prepares them for a wide variety of careers. In 2005, Mizzou launched their IT program with a charitable donation from AT&T/SBC.

In a 2008 study, Forbes.com rated Missouri S&T as No. 1 in the Midwest and 12th nationally among public colleges for “getting rich.” In 2008, a survey by Payscale.com said graduates from Missouri S&T receive the highest starting salaries in the Midwest after graduation.

University of Missouri-Kansas City

The Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at UMKC serves to provide students with rich, well-balanced comprehension in a variety of computer science-related fields. UMKC offers three undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science/Arts in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor of Information Technology.
