University of Delaware
The University of Delaware was founded in 1743 as a small, private academy. Today, UD is research-intensive, technologically advanced institution—considered one of the nation’s few Land, Sea, and Space Grant universities and is also classified by Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a research university with very high research activity. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department offers Bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.

Delaware State University
Delaware State University, previously known as, The State College for Colored Students, was founded in 1891 by the Delaware General Assembly. The College of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology at DSU offers degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology. Students in these programs not only learn essential programming and development skills, but also critical thinking, communication, and problem solving skills which will prepare students for careers in the technical field as well as management positions in business, government, and graduate fields.

Wilmington University
Wilmington College officially became a university after being approved by the Board of Trustees in 2007. Wilmington University offers a unique educational experience for high school graduates as well as adult students. Courses are offered in 15-week, 7-week, and weekend modular formats, and although the university does not provide housing facilities, the campus is easily accessible for commuter students.
The College of Technology at Wilmington University offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer and Network Security and Web Information Systems. Computer and Network Security majors will gain a thorough understanding of computer and network technology, and their curriculum will focus primarily on the securing of data and information systems.
