University of Colorado
The University of Colorado is a Tier 1 research institution which received closed to $3 million dollars in research awards in2008 and was also rated as America’s Smartest City by Forbes magazine in 2008. Colorado State University
CSU is a land-grant institution and a Carnegie Research University located in Fort Collins, CO. Money Magazine ranked Fort Collins as the second “Best Place to Live” in America in 2008. CSU is also ranked as one of the best public universities by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine, The Princeton Review, and U.S. News and World Report. CSU Department of Natural Sciences offers undergraduate students programs of study in Applied Computing Technology (ACT) and Computer Science. Colorado School of Mines
Founded in 1874, Colorado School of Mines is a public research university devoted to engineering and applied science. Colorado School of Mines has the highest admissions standards for a public university in the state and some of the highest standards in the country. Mines has an exceptional faculty and a student/faculty ratio of 14:1. The Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences offers an undergraduate degree in which students may select three tracks which best suits their interests. These tracks are: Computational and Applied Mathematics, Computer Sciences, or Statistics. Located in downtown Denver, UCD offers students a top-of-the-line education in a very exciting setting. The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Denver provides a broad-based curriculum which encompasses aspects of engineering, science, mathematics, computers, and humanities.
